Promoting Regional Opportunities to Students by Presenting Educations, Careers, Training and Skills.

Helena WINS partners with Helena College to bring high school students to our PROSPECTS events. PROSPECTS is a series of career awareness events for high school students to explore educational and career pathways in different fields including healthcare, technology, construction, manufacturing, and more to come!

Helena Area Summer Jobs Program

HSJP focuses on developing life and work skills that are necessary for success in the workplace, exposing students to potential career pathways, and connecting students with mentors by providing work-based learning experiences for Helena area high school students and recent graduates.

At the same time, participating area businesses and community organizations help strengthen the local economy by connecting youth to meaningful work experiences in the Helena area.

HSJP student participants:

Are matched with a paid summer job or paid internship.
Complete a pre-summer work skills training.
Meet with an adult mentor, focusing on work-based learning.
